Harry lives with his aunt and uncle for the first eleven years of his life and odesn´t know at all about his popularity. On his eleventh birthday he is visited by Hagrid who tells him all about his family history and takes him to buy the things which he needs for Hogwarts. It is all very exciting for him, he makes a lot of experiences during that first year. He learns to do magic and makes friends quickly. He also is the first first-year in a long time to be allowed to play in the Quidditch team as a seeker, because he canhandle the broomstick really well. Of course he doesn´t stay out of trouble and gets quite a few detnetions, but it´s always somehow for a good reason. In the end, he has to face Voldemort a second time in his life, but again he gets off with it. And after the happiest year in his life so far, he has to stay at the Dursley´s again for the summer holidays.
