„It takes bravery to stand up to our enemies, but just as much to stand
up to our friends.“
(quote from Dumbledore on pg. 329)
Dumbledore says that sentence in his speech at the end of
the school year. He refers to Neville Longbottom who tried to stand up
to Harry, Ron and Hermione when they were about to enter the Trapdoor.
He just wanted to save them from more trouble with the teachers and risked
this confrontation. For this struggle he had to go through, he earned ten
points for Gryffindor which puts them in the lead in the House Cup.
But this quote is also a universal one. If you think
hard about it is much easier for you to tell your enemies off than your
real friends. Even if you want to save them by that you don’t want to get
into a fight with them. So sometime the hardest thing to do is to stand
up to a friend and tell him that he is wrong.
